design for sasha cohen
never done somthin like this before
so dont know
how good it is
tried to do somthin simple
the material is gorgette
so that its thin yet not transparent
the border is embroiderd
and filled with sparkly diamonds
couldnt draw skates
As a design on its own, I find it sexy and elegant. The cuts are clean and the flare is very draped with a fitted overall look. But typically, it doesn't look like something Sasha would wear who's usually seen wearing ice skating costumes that are more traditional and commonly seen, but with innovation.
thank you
i dont mind being out
i see that my design didnt fit in with the requirement
but the critique was somewhat hurtfull
words like hideous
really were not necessary
obviously its a contest
someone has to be better
but being so derogatory
just doesnt fit with a freindly competition
this isnt tv that mean words are nessary for higher ratings
cant people be let down gently
i'm REALLY sorry that i hurt your feelings and i hope that we still stay and touch, and are friends...
-- I have always tried to design things that are unapologetically beautiful, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. If I can inspire an appreciation for grace and elegance, that would be the ultimate fulfillment of my life's ambition.
